Grown on an elevated, rocky site west of the township of Auburn, our single-vineyard pinot gris was hand-harvested at the perfect point of ripeness to create a brilliantly fresh style of wine. Our commitment to hand-picked fruit is vital in achieving pure colour and appealing grape character in the finished wine. In fact, we already began the process back in the vineyard by thinning 30% of the crop to enhance flavour intensity. Once we are in the winery, gentle handling and minimal interference and inputs are key to protecting the delicate purity of our pinot gris fruit and attaining the bright wine style we love. "This has hallmark slickness and vitality in texture, with greasy apple, nashi pear and cashew savouriness, a lift of pleasing white vinegary tang and a dash of sweet, exotic spice. That's a good list of ingredients for gris, here done medium weight with good length in tow. While not overly complex, it delivers a sense of layers and interest to the wine. Fresh, bright and youthful - the nose is awash with attractive, fruit forward aromatics that cross the spectrum from rich pear to white peach. Fresh yet svelte, the palate sees that lifted green pear evolve onto a nashi pear, with golden delicious apple vibes. Bright, primary fruit sits front and centre, backed by lovely textural elements, notes of almond meal and herbaceous hints of tarragon. Throughout the palate there is a minerality that can only be described as groovy. The epic finish lingers like a classic 70’s guitar solo, a moreish encore in every sip.

The fruit is from a Kirrihill owned vineyard in Watervale called “Slate Creek”, planted in the 1970’s. As you guessed, the vines are sitting on slate, which gives incredible results, the fruit has great concentration of flavour and minerality on the palate. The 2025 season was excellent for Riesling, we are super happy with how the wines are shaping up. The vines maintained very healthy canopies throughout the dry summer, and the vineyard team kept up with consistent and generous irrigation to meet the perfect ripening conditions. Picking at cool temperatures and quick transportation will avoid picking up colour, oxidation, maceration and therefore loss of quality, flavour and acidity.

This wine from Vickery displays hallmark Watervale aromas showing pure Riesling characteristics of fresh lemon-lime citrus, floral honeysuckle and a creamy richness. The flavours are fresh lemon citrus, with soft mineral acidity supported by the persistent and mouth-watering finish. An absolute delight to drink in its first flush of youth, but will intrigue and reward with additional complexity upon cellaring for 5-20 years.

Taylors Chardonnay's toasty nutty flavours of the oak perfectly complement the rich melon peach varietal characters of the grape in this soft full-flavoured Chardonnay.

Taylors Jaraman Chardonnay has lifted, complex aromas of subtle white peach and nectarine along with secondary aromas of cream and cashew nuts from lees stirring and oak maturation. The Clare Valley component delivers mid-palate weight and richness with fleshy stone fruit flavours of yellow nectarine and white peach, while the Adelaide Hills component delivers elegance and length with restrained citrus flavours to the mid-palate.

Petaluma Riesling is one of Australia's finest examples of this noble variety. Pale straw in colour the palate exhibits lemon and grapefuit flavours matched by some fresh and racy acidity. Sourced from the home of great Australian Riesling, this trademark Clare Valley aromatic white is wonderful when opened upon release and like all great Rieslings, will develop brilliant toasty characters over a 10 year period in the bottle.
