Delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. The fruit for this wine was sourced from the famous Watervale region off the Castine family Golf House vineyard. A classic dry style of Riesling with provocative lime, lemon and floral aromas. For John Hughes, the attraction to Riesling is all encompassing. Growing up on a small vineyard in the Clare Valley, and going on to work with some of the brightest Riesling makers in the country before launching his own venture, John is never far away from his beloved grape. John makes classic Australian styles from carefully selected vineyards with an emphasis on purity and site reflection, as well as German-inspired expressions that balance acidity and sugar with singular precision.

Fresh, bright and youthful - the nose is awash with attractive, fruit forward aromatics that cross the spectrum from rich pear to white peach. Fresh yet svelte, the palate sees that lifted green pear evolve onto a nashi pear, with golden delicious apple vibes. Bright, primary fruit sits front and centre, backed by lovely textural elements, notes of almond meal and herbaceous hints of tarragon. Throughout the palate there is a minerality that can only be described as groovy. The epic finish lingers like a classic 70’s guitar solo, a moreish encore in every sip.

Petaluma Riesling is one of Australia's finest examples of this noble variety. Pale straw in colour the palate exhibits lemon and grapefuit flavours matched by some fresh and racy acidity. Sourced from the home of great Australian Riesling, this trademark Clare Valley aromatic white is wonderful when opened upon release and like all great Rieslings, will develop brilliant toasty characters over a 10 year period in the bottle.

The hallmark of Tim Adams' Pinot Gris is the balance between flavour sweetness and acidity. Nashi pear, green apple and tropical fruit aromas lead into a full-flavoured, rich and textured palate.

The aromatics of this wine are so vibrant - jumping out of the glass. A beautiful, appealing perfume full of floral notes and orange blossom with touches of freshly zested limes. This is a light bodied wine with juicy pear, lemon barley characters and hints of rose water. The palate is soft with a touch of creaminess. A wonderfully enjoyable wine that will pair with a wide range of food choices.
