Chateau Beaubois - Cuvée Confidence -

Dark red colour with hints of violet. Initial nose of white pepper, cherry and raspberry, violets and floral notes. Upon aeration, minty chocolate notes fill out this rich, generous nose. On the palate, there are subtle hints of anise and licorice, with persistent notes of red fruits. Tannins are well-structured. Confidence is a wine glorifying the Grenache grape. It remains fresh and elegant. Byodynamic & Organic farming (Demeter) - Vegan Pairs well with lamb, beef, red and white meat in sauce and cheese. Serve at 16-17°C. Cellaring 7-10 years.

Selected according to plot. Vinification in small vat-room. Separated by plot and by quality. Cold maceration before fermentation to gently extract the colour and aromas of the fresh fruit. Maceration 10-15 days.

The Berthier family have been winegrowers for five generations, with Clement and Florian taking over the reins in 2012 to continue the family tradition. Clement is responsible for winemaking and sales, while Florian is focused on the vineyards. Located across the Loire River opposite Pouilly Fume, the terroir for this Sancerre comprises mainly of flint and limestone. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is racy and expressive, with bright grapefruit, white flowers, and notes of struck flint. The palate opens up rich and full, finishing with a rich yet silky freshness.
