Fresh and pure with green mango and white peach fruit overlaid by notes of sea salt, Riverstone and aniseed. The maturation in Clay Amphora is evident in the excellent chalky texture and the complex but fruit driven palate. Nick’s Chardonnay is made from fruit coming from the Maragle vineyard in Tumbarumba. Picked slightly later than usual and spending 15 months in old oak - the reason being was to make a rounder and richer style of Chardonnay that still showed classic Tumbarumba crunch and finesse. The nose is quite subtle, with lovely hints of peach, stone fruit and cashew nuts.

Modern Australian Chardonnay is revolutionising the varietal, and this single vineyard Tumbarumba is a prime example. Experience lifted grapefruit, honeydew melon and lemon zest aromas on the nose. The wine is bright with flavours of green apple, lime and creamy cashew notes on the middle palate. The finish is long and refined with a lovely driving line of acidity.
