The cool-climate of the Adelaide Hills has proven to be a haven for Pinot Noir and is quickly establishing a reputation akin to the benchmark Australian regions. A Central Otago Pinot with earthiness and depth to wallow in. The pristine cool-climate along with long sun drenched days allowed the fruit to ripen magnificently and produce aromas of deep red cherry, blackberry and cocoa. In the mouth the Squealing Pig is rich and generous with velvet like tannins and a wonderful, long finish.

Made as a fruit-driven enjoy now style, this Devil's Corner Pinot from Tasmania's Tamar region shows layers of dusty cherry, well integrated spices and subtle oak on the palate. Mt Difficulty is one of Central Otago's oldest and most prestigious vineyards. Having tamed the rugged region since 1992, Mt Difficulty produce wines of utmost character and charm. Their Roaring Meg Pinot Noir shows lovely perfumed blackberry and dark cherry fruits along with a hint of spice. On the palate the wine has a sweet berry character along with balanced, ripe textural tannins that rise gracefully out of the mid-palate to finish the wine.

Trentham Estate winemaker Anthony Murphy has done it again - producing a great value Pinot Noir offering cherry, raspberry and subtle confectionery characteristics as well as velvety mouthfeel.

Howard Parks Flink Rock Pinot Noir features fruit from the sub-regional trio of Mt Barker, Porongurup and Frankland River. In the glass: Attractive light Pinot red. On the nose: Fresh, concentrated strawberry and cedary oak. On the palate: Quite light and elegant, its juicy with silken dark cherry fruit, savoury depth and length and soft, background oak. Shows just the right amount of stalky complexity.
