The Yarra Valley is renowned for its excellence in Pinot Noir and this expression is no exception. In the glass: Medium garnet red. On the nose: Ripe dark berry fruit. On the palate: Bold, quite powerul red plum and raspberry fruit with some background stalky, herbal elements. Firm and dry yet flavoursome and varietal.

Garnet in colour, the wine displays aromas of cherry cola, violets, star anise and pink peppercorns. The palate has black forest chocolate notes, tobacco leaf, Danish liquorice and spice. Berry fruit flavours are supported by grainy tannins and a juicy finish.

A mixture of cherries and red berries with a hint of spice and wet leaves. There is some creamy spiced oak notes and a soft clean tannin with a nice orange oil finish.

A mellow and balanced Pinot Noir. With a light ruby colour with the nose full of strawberry, plum and cherry. Flavours of vanilla support these red fruity favours then lead into a well-structured finish Matches well with duck and chicken dishes.

The wines are sourced from the Aude Valley, located in the foothills of the Pyrenees south of the famed walled hillside town of Carcassonne. Rising to an altitude of 450 metres, the terraced, low yielding vineyards are cooled by refreshing winds and chilly nights, creating elegant and varietally expressive wines like this Pinot noir.
