Nick Spencer Wines P.A.R. Tempranillo

P.A.R. Tempranillo by Nick Spencer - P.A.R. Wines prophets a landscape transitioning away from traditional grape varieties and wine styles of previous generations into an exciting tapestry of vineyards growing varieties that are better suited to our changing climate and winemakers crafting wines better suited to our evolving lifestyle and cuisine. P.A.R refers to a latin saying, examine the past, be in the present and look to the future.

Altera Terra Corda Pinot Noir Shiraz

Altera Terra Corda Pinot Noir Shiraz, Murrumbateman Corda: Winemaker Doug Neals passion for Burgundy and reverence for traditional Australian styling is etched in his Corda cuvée, meaning hearts. It draws on the legacy of the great Maurice OShea and his parade of Australian Burgundy, blending 70% Pinot Noir with 30% Shiraz. It is translucent of hue, red fruited, savoury of personality, diaphanous of texture and succulent from attack to its persistent glide, long across the palate. Think red cherry, damson plum, bergamot and Asian five-spice. Each glass sees the wine shape-shift, becoming juicier, suave and richer in time. The trajectory for ageing is prodigious, although it is difficult to stop after tasting the first bottle! 'it is clear that Neals new domain is stamped with the postcode of cult in the making.'- Ned Goodwin MW

Tumblong Hills Shiraz

Deep magenta in colour. Beautifully ripe, red fruit aromas coalesce in a generous and wonderful regional signature. Plum, cherry and raspberry fruit flavours occupy centre stage, while French oak influence provides further depth of flavour and supportive length.

Grove Estate Hilltops Cabernet Sauvignon

One could be mistaken for thinking Grove Estate was in the heart of Coonawarra with it's vivid red soil. It's in fact nestled in the emerging region of Hilltops in NSW and with the guidance of Canberra guru, Tim Kirk, this great Cabernet shows flavours and aromas of liquorice, blackberry and rich cassis.

Clonakilla O'Riada Shiraz

Sourced from vineyards surrounding Canberra, the Clonakilla O'Riada Shiraz has been lovingly embraced as little brother to the iconic Shiraz Viognier. Also co-fermented with a touch of Viognier, the O'Riada shows a more fruit forward presence, yet still with that unmistakable Tim Kirk elegance and purity that is a theme throughout all of his wines.

Mount Majura Shiraz

An elegant and fine-boned cool climate Shiraz from the emerging wine region of the Canberra District. The wine is packed with spicy aromatics from pepper and bay leaf to marzipan and violets. Red fruit flavours run to blackberry and beef stock, carried by savoury, grainy tannins.

Quarry Hill Shiraz

Occupying some of the more elevated land in the Canberra District, Quarry Hill produces a Shiraz with ripe flavours and excellent natural acids; the hallmarks of great cool-climate Shiraz. Aged in a mix of new and older French oak, the wine is bright purple in the glass, follwed by aromas of raspberry, plum, spice and a little pepper. Through the palate, there are flavours of mulberry and plum, fine tannins and a crisp, dry finish.

Barton Estate Georgia Shiraz

Don’t miss this rare chance to secure a magnificent wine from a top producer that’s in seriously short supply. Made by an acclaimed winemaker at the top of their game, this is a slice of wine history you don’t want to miss. Add it to your collection while you can.

Grove Estate The Partners Cabernet Sauvignon

In the glass: Full deep red. On the nose: Delicate redcurrant, plum, cedar and a light leafy lift. On the palate: Textured with a medium weight core of dark fruit, elegant line and touches of coffee, cherry and savoury oak.
