A reductive, flinty aroma overlays quince, nashi pear, pine nut, citrus blossom and lemon zest. Toasty brioche and chalky mineral aromas present in the background. An excellent palate, with primary fruits of tangy lemon and kaffir lime, backed up by secondary flavours of fresh pastry. Tightly wound acidity with remarkable freshness.

Classic Margaret River Cabernet can be found in every bottle of Forester Estate's Cabernet Sauvignon. Located in the heart of Montagne de Reims, Champagne Paul Louis Martin is blessed with an outstanding Grand Cru vineyard site that faces due South on chalky soil and is protected by North winds from the mountains adjoining the region. The Grand Cru Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay and delivery a complex, full flavoured Champagne with a fine notes of dried fruits along with hazelnuts and almonds. Rich and palate covering, this is a boutique style sparkling wine best suited to intensely flavoured cuisine.

A light straw colour with a fine persistent bead. The nose is lifted with a rich yeast autolysis character and hints of citrus and apple. The palate is full bodied, complex and rich with prominent lemon and lime flavours and a bready character that lingers. The palate is creamy and elegant with a crisp, dry finish and refreshing acidity.

Aroma This hand crafted elegant Sparkling Chardonnay displays complex lifted notes of citrus fruit, blossom and brioche.

The wine is immediately appealing on the nose showing brightly fruited notes of lemon peel, white fleshy nectarine and grapefruit with a subtle touch of sweet basil leaves. It is juicy and vibrant on the palate with youthful fruit intensity together with crisp acidity, finishing long and mouth-watering.

Very small quantities of this wine made unfortunately. The wine is tight and intense which will ensure it ages well, some citrus to compliment the stone fruit and fine oak. Finishing with beautiful length and natural acid.

Pale yellow youthful green tinges, which I equate with quality young chardonnay. Aromatics are instantly very serious. Intense fruit nectarines and white peaches melding with lemon citrus beautiful French oak hovering just above the wine at the moment intense more than a cursory nod to Burgundy. The tiniest whiff of sulphides perfect for a wine of this age. When sipped, the wine shows its incredible intensity, no doubt derived from the very low yield.
