Sourced from what many believe to be the true home to Cabernet in Australia, the Margaret River, Cape Mentelle produce a wine that has a plush full-flavoured palate of concentrated blackcurrants and mulberries with a minerally spine. Richly textured and vibrant the palate finishes long with fine yet firm gravelly tannins. A superb candidate for some medium to long term cellaring.

Sandalford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is simply put, a sensational wine! Complex on the nose with violets, tomato leaf, cigar box and spice, it is beautifully structured on the palate, with rich fleshy fruit filling out the tannin backbone.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. This light pink hued Pink Heath Sparkling Pinot Noir is lined with an apricot blush along the edges. The fragrant bouquet flaunts intense strawberry and rose aromas which intermix with juicy red currant flavours on the rich and sweet palate. This wonderful Pinot Noir ends in a lingering finale.

This aromatic white blend is a fusion of 92% Sauvignon Blanc grapes with 8% Semillon grapes. These fruit parcels were harvested in the cool of the night and then cold pressed. The juice obtained was fermented in stainless steel before bottling. The resulting blend displays a pale green colour. The lifted bouquet exudes fresh aromas of guava, with hints of Semillon grapes evident in the background. The medium-bodied palate initially presents flint dry and racy fruit flavours, balanced by crisp acidity. The finale is excellent and lingering. Made for consumption upon release, this enticing white wine has the potential to be cellared for 2 to 3 years from vintage. Swings & Roundabouts Sauvignon Blanc Semillon goes well with poached salmon, Rottnest King George whiting or goat cheese.

Margaret River is renowned for its premium Siraz wines. This example emanates from one of Wilyabrup's a multi star rated Halliday Winereis. The fruit was harvested in Mid-April when the skin tannins are ripe and the flavours are bold. The whole berries add some spice and complexity to the wine. Aromas of glazed plums, cloves and cracked peppercorns give way to a rich palate with hints of citrus blossom, oyster shell and vanilla pod compliment a long and complex finish, further exhibiting a bright fruit core and pure longevity of pristine tannin. Our Shiraz seems to enjoy relatively cool ferments, plenty of aeration and gentle treatment. The wine is gently pressed of skins, near dryness, based on taste.The bubbly purple wine finishes its fermentation in the presence of mainly French oak, with the smallest portion of American oak. The wine is racked when it has finished its malolactic fermentation, and then once or twice more over the season based on its individual requirements. Brilliant straw with green edges. Nuttiness and delicate stone fruit. Peach and grapefruit, with fresh balanced natural acidic finish giving layers of textural complexity. The fruit was handpicked, chilled and whole bunch pressed to allow gentle extraction. The juice was transferred directly into French oak barrels and fermented with a mix of natural (wild) yeast and selected yeast strains to provide complexity. No MLF to retain natural acidity and freshness. Post-fermentation the lees were stirred gently once a week until the balance between oak, lees characters and fruit characters was achieved. The origin of Rockcliffe was an 18 acre expanse of apple orchards planted early in the 1900s in the rich Scotsdale Valley region of Denmark in the Great Southern, Western Australia. In the late 1980s, a local family acquired the property for its fertile soils and position for long afternoon sunshine with cool ocean breezes. It was christened Matildas Meadow and the planting of dry grown vines commenced. The Pinot and Chardonnay vines were the first planted in the district in 1987. Our brands reflect our love of the Ocean and how important it is to the vineyard.
