Waymaker represents a proud history and future intention of going one's own way. Inspired by Stonyfell Founder Henry Clark, who first dreamt of making wine amongst his olive trees many years ago. Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc at its best! Nepenthe Sauvignon Blanc has ripe passionfruit and gooseberry aromas on the nose. And are supported by beautiful flavours of kiwifruit and snow pea on the palate. Clean crisp lengthy finish.

Medium straw in colour this wine by Sidewood displays lifted white peach, fig, pear and pistachio nuts on the nose. This barrel fermented Adelaide Hills Chardonnay offers superbly structured characters. It is tight and lean, laced with citrus lime and tropical fruit characters. Some lovely subtle complexities from careful oak maturation on lees include nutmeg, sage spice and pistachio flavours which linger on the after taste. A lovely crisp wine now, that will benefit from some short term cellaring once bottled. Serve with Asian style broth, mushroom based dishes or Lobster bisque is a great match to this Chardonnays complexity in flavour, but finesse in structure.

Ten months in French oak (30% new), the fruit from one of our highest yielding vintages is brilliant straw green in colour and displays light citrus aromas combined with white stonefruit and a wonderful creamy multi layered finish from extended time on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.
