The 2017 Mornington Pinot Noir is off a 20 year old vineyard, with predominately clone 115, and some MV6 and 114. The vineyard is south-east facing and seems to take just a few extra days to ripen than the vineyards close by, which can make all the difference with hot summers. The vines are on a bed of rich red loam over course gravel.

The vineyard has great capacity to create aromatic wines with high natural acidity.This style shows plum skin, blueberry & morello cherry that weaves into a long savoury finish.

Ten Minutes by Tractor continues to tell their story of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir with the single vineyard, Judd. As always, this Pinot is the most fruit driven of the single vineyard wines produced with a mouth watering palate of sweet strawberry and cherry fruit mixed with crunchy sap, spice and caramel. The bold, confident flavour profile is one that will evolve in glass and develop the long, sap-tinged finish, so be sure give it air.

With access to some of Mornington Peninsula best single vineyard sites, Ten Minutes by Tractor's Wallis Pinot Noir is an example of the great depth and flavour the region can produce. Compared alongside the Estate Pinot, this wine is notably created in more of a savoury style. The flavours are precise and well defined with the palate tightly focused with fine and a little reserved tannin. The sweet-sour flavour combination makes a great food match with Asian cuisines.
