The Viognier was hand harvested from our vineyard out near Wombat.The wine has zesty fresh characteristics with a palate situated somewhere between that of a Chardonnay and a Semillon.

In the cool autumn weather, the Viognier grapes hang on the vine, like golden treasure. Picked late, when all signs of the frenetic buzz of vintage have faded, the golden fruit is brought into the winery. Great care and calculation are needed to turn these previous berries into a beautiful and alluring wine with delicate sweet complexity. Our 2022 Late Picked Viognier has the perfect balance between elegant sweet floral concentration and fresh citrus acidity.
