Dalrymple Vineyards was established in 1987. Situated in the heart of the Pipers River region of north-eastern Tasmania, almost equidistant from Launceston, Scottsdale and George Town. Dalrymples own vines are planted on sloping hills that overlook Bass Strait, and they also have access to vineyards in other parts of the State. This Single Site Pinot Noir comes from the Coal River Valley, just outside Hobart.

Josef Chromy Chardonnay is a classic cool climate style, showing notes of melon and granny smith apple, some mid palate creamy richness and taut linear acidity. Fruit is sourced from Josef Chromys estate vineyards in Relbia in Northern Tasmania. The Chardonnay is gently pressed to stainless steel for a cool ferment with full solids retained for fermentation to give richness and texture.

Aromas of toasty brioche and delicate citrus subtly emerge from the fine beads. Full and crisp flavours of apples with lengthy creamy structure. Fine and subtle.

Soft pink colour with a fine and persistent mousse. The Pinot Noir characters are showcased in this wine, with fresh strawberry and red currant notes followed by some delicate citrus from the Chardonnay. Generous red berry and citrus fruit flavours enrich the palate with creamy yeast autolysis providing depth and flavour. The wine finishes soft and round, with lingering berry flavours. Serve chilled. Enjoy with tapas or Chinese-style soy braised abalone.

In the glass, Barringwood Estate Pinot Noir shows a beautiful and dusky plum colour, with pinkish edges. The bouquet exhibits aromas of cherries, violets and vanilla, fusing with cherry and earthy notes. The bright and fruity palate bursts with spicy oak, balanced by soft and savoury tannins.
