Bright pale yellow, there is nothing Innocent about this Pinot Gris! An extremely well made wine with distinct pear and freshly cut green apple slice on the nose followed by similar varietal characters on the palate. It is satisfyingly crisp with great acidity structure to be one of the great summer enjoyment.

On the nose: Really fragrant jasmine, pear and citrus with a light ginger spice lift. Om the palate: Vibrant and elegant with apple, pear and grapefruit core depth, subtle hints of spice adding complexity, a smooth, velvety mouth-feel and a mouth-watering finish. Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. A generous and textural palate, with flavours of crýme brulee, lemon zest and musk, balanced by refreshing acidity and a satisfying, clean finish.

A star-bright lemon hue with a hint of pink reflects the ripeness of the fruit. The wine is bursting with aromas and flavours of ripe pear, quince, guava, cinnamon and ginger. It expands on the palate to become mouth-filling and unctuous but its richness is balanced by a refreshing and zesty core of minerality.
