This is the 1st release of the Serafino Sorrento Chardonnay, a wine that takes a modern twist with exciting new labelling and refreshing winemaking. Sorrento is one Italys most famous towns and one of Serafino (Steve) Maglieris favourite beaches. Perched on top of cliffs that separate the town from the busy marinas below, visitors to Sorrento enjoy the beach lifestyle, and a myriad of bustling bars around the colourful café-lined square. The Serafino Fiano is a bright vibrant wine, displaying intense citrus and floral characters. The wine is crisp and refreshing with layers of flavour and a fine mouthwatering finish.

This variety made famous by the Loire Valley is starting to gain a footing in Australia. Coriole Chenin Blanc is fresh and elegant on the palate, comprising pineapple and gooseberry fruits with an attractive smoky finish.

d'Arenberg Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne has medium golden colour leads to a sweetly ripe nose of apricots and honeysuckle. The palate is big textual and warmish with sweet apricot and stewed pear flavours. Perfect with red duck curry.

Pale straw yellow in colour with complex aromas of stone fruits, vanilla and lightly roasted nuts. The palate is layered with white peach, nectarine, meyer lemons with a hint of brioche. A classic Chardonnay with a lovely balance of fruit, French oak with a soft creamy mouthfeel.

Bright straw yellow with green tinges, a nose of butterscotch and honeycomb. The palate is lovely and textural with flavours of citrus, dried fruit, a hint of ginger and some lingering minerality.

This elegant Chardonnay shows a light to medium straw colour with deep green hues. Aromas of orange pith, straw, spice, French oak, mandarin and melon flow off the lovely nose. The lively palate is filled with hints of cashew, cream and toast in addition to intense fruit flavours, providing a clean and juicy climax. This wine has a cellaring potential of 5 years.

An excellent food wine, it matches well with just about any foods you might match a dry white wine to, but fresh white seafood dishes (white fish, squid, prawns & crabs) are perhaps the best accompaniment to this wine.
