Inviting and rich scents of nougat and lemon curd stuffed panettone, with a pulsing quartz-led mineral note. This is a step up from previous vintages, the fruit cleaner, and the resultant wine is better for it. Peach, lime zest, white nectarine and grapefruit lead, before a gentle thrum of saline saltiness ripples through the fruit as it reaches the shore's edge. d'Arenberg Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne has medium golden colour leads to a sweetly ripe nose of apricots and honeysuckle. The palate is big textual and warmish with sweet apricot and stewed pear flavours. Perfect with red duck curry.
