Bright golden yellow, with white peach, apple Danish and cinnamon on the nose that follows through on the palate. A full-bodied wine with a silky creamy texture and an elegant lingering finish. An assured Chardonnay that can stand alone and solve the problems of the world. Drink now or cellar with confidence, for there is a long road ahead.

Sourced from prime vineyards in the Eden Valley, including prized parcels in the High Eden and Mount Crawford sub regions, this shows the elegance and restraint that typifies chardonnay grown in this cool, elevated location. Shallow rocky soils add a mineral edge to the pristine white peach and nectarine fruit flavours, while wild fermentation in barrels adds complex gunflint and struck match characters.

Pale apricot tinged colour with a watery hue. Aromas of pear and red apple skin mix with quince and spice notes. Juicy pear and red apple fruits are underpinned by refreshing acidity with some quince and delicate spice characters also evident. Finishes dry and brisk with a mid length aftertaste.
