Normans Old Vine Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - Related products

Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon

While many seek out the Basket Press Shiraz, it would be a disservice to ignore this opulent and concentrated Barossa Cabernet from Rockford. The Rifle Range actually has a lovely elegant and structured bent to it, some real class. A core of blackcurrant that is complimented by savour touches that lift the wine to some extraordinary levels.

Château Tanunda Matthews Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Directly from the heart of Eden Valley, the Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the cool climate, high altitude vineyard of Château Tanunda. A concentrated wine with the expected regional characteristics of mint leaves and ripe dark forest berries on the nose. Well framed tannins and acidity balancing with the subtle toasty oak towards a lengthy finish. A great weekday food wine.

Penfolds Block 42 Kalimna Cabernet Sauvignon

Penfolds' Block 42 vineyard is one of the most historic Cabernet vineyards in the world. Planted only 30 years after the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, Block 42 has the oldest plantings in the world that have continuously produced Cabernet Sauvignon. This unique history is harnessed by Peter Gago in the 2004 Block 42 Kalimna Cabernet that has produced a beautifully aromatic, perfectly balanced and ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit simply explodes across the palate, giving tremendous depth and length of flavour. While young, plush and full-bodied today, the Block 42 has many years of ageing ahead of it and will be comfortable in your cellar well into the 2020s.

Greenock Creek Roennfeldt Road Cabernet Sauvignon

This tiny vineyard of century old vines produces a wine of formidable structure with an intense Cabernet style of mixed fruits and berries.

Kaesler Wines WOMS Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Greenock Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Producing only genuinely Estate wines, Greenock Creek is the lifelong labour of Michael & Annabelle Waugh. These wines are typically full of intense Barossan power, often paired with the heat to boot. Yields are, as Andrew Caillard puts it, impossibly low - leading to both concentration of flavour and a cultish following. Explore the Museum

Chris Ringland Limit Lodge Cabernet Mataro

Chris Ringland Limit Lodge Cabernet Mataro is a blend of exceptional fruit from exceptional vineyards, a new style from winemaker Chris Ringland and grape grower Adrian Hoffmann. The name Limit Lodge comes from a historical parcel within the Hoffmann vineyards, and is also appropriate given the limited number of bottles made. Matured in aged French oak, this is a juicy Cabernet blend rich in dark, plummy fruits with savoury notes of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, and anise. The finish is long with mouth-coating tannins, and a slight salinity. Plenty of potential for ageing.

Clifton Estate Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

2017 Clifton Estate Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, Deep red with hints of garnet at the edge of the glass. Blackcurrant and liquorice fruit paired with subtle leaf and savoury spice on the nose. The palate is ripe and rich with balanced fruit and oak. Varietal flavours of cassis, nutmeg and plum lead to fine grained, savoury tannins.

Pepperjack Rare FindCab Sauv

Sourced from premium vineyards within the Barossa valley, this wine has been matured for fifteen months in seasoned and new French and American oak barrels. This wine displays aromas of black cherries, blackberries with hints of plum and varietal leafy notes. The palate is rich and full bodied, with layers of dark berries and soft chalky tannins.

Impenetrable midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive escape from the glass trailed by some cigar box, bay leaf and spice.
