Armand Heitz has made enormous strides in the relatively short time he has been in control of the family domaine. Formed in the 1980's as Domaine Heitz-Lochardet, since 2019 the wines have been labelled as Domaine Armand Heitz to better reflect how much progress Armand has made since began the winemaking following his studies in 2011. His viticulture philosophy is holistic, with permaculture and even livestock on the property ensuring a strong biodiversity for his vines. Winemaking is classic, including whole cluster fermentations, and the resultant wines are expressive and pure in style.

Olivier Leflaive was co-manager of Domaine Leflaive until 1994 before withdrawing to concentrate on his own venture which he started in 1985. Today the domaine produces wine from some 65 appellations with 85% of the production being white wine. One of Burgundys most respected producers the estate produces a number of domaine wines from its own vineyards alongside its range of negocé bottlings. This Chardonnay is a wine with a fine aromatic intensity of almond, hazelnut, apple and a nice balance between smoothness and freshness on the palate.

This parcel is located on the upper slopes above the Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières appellation. The clay/limestone soil has a subsoil of extremely hard white rock riddled with fissures. These allow the roots to circulate through the white limestone. The parcels southern exposure, coupled with a steady 20% slope, affords the grapes excellent ventilation leading to a harvest that is both ripe and healthy. The wine often presents aromas of candied orange (or other citrus fruits) on the nose and in the mouth.

The flagship wine of Trinity Hill, Homage is made as a tribute to one of the Rhone Valleys most iconic figures, the late Gerard Jaboulet. The fruit is sourced from cuttings Gerard generously gave Trinity Hill from the renowned La Chapelle vineyard in Hermitage and the Les Jumelles vineyard in Cote Rotie.
