The Hunters' first settlers thought the place so hot at vintage they called it Pokolbin - literally translates to 'Hellhole'!

Glaetzer-Dixon's wine maker Nick has taken four generations of Barossa shiraz wine-making knowledge and applied it to carefully selected parcels of shiraz grapes from the Coal Valley in Southern Tasmania. The Mon Père Shiraz is a pre-eminent cool-climate shiraz, with flavours and textures evocative of Northern Rhône valley wines.

Château Lanessan continues to be a true bargain in the Bordeaux world. Lanessan produces wines that at first seem firm, but flesh out with marvellous fruit with good richness. Lanessan is also a very consistant producer, creating wines of quality from questionable vintages. The Glaetzer name comes with as much heritage as this classic Australian blend. Rich, ripe and full bodied, this unfiltered red is a parfait of mouthfilling complexity. Made by Ben Glaetzer, the Anaperenna Shiraz Cab is not only striking in label, it's also striking on the palate. Destined to be a long lived blend with the Cabernet structure keeping the plush and vibrant Shiraz fruit in check.

An extremely lifted aromatic profile reminiscent of violets and/or other sweet floral notes. These are complemented by a black/blueberry fruit flavours that taste sweet and ripe. On the palate the wines tend to display a degree of texture and has an extremely generous body due to the fine tannin and acidity interplay

This wine is medium bodied, brightly coloured with an array of berries pepper and spices on the nose combined with coffee aromas. The palate is soft and long with distinctly savoury characters, finishing with velvet tannins. It is a delicate wine, focused on balance and structure.

This wine is vivid purple in colour with aromas of black current, blueberry, leather and spice. The palate is long and layered with black and blue fruits, and layers of leafy complexity with tobacco and chocolate notes.

Made using grapes from vines over 100 years old. Colour is mid cherry red with purple highlights. Wine has aromas of plums, blackberries and roasted red and brown spice with subtle chocolate oak. The palate is medium bodied with red fruit flavours and soft spicy oak and a long velvety finish.
