Grenache has long been a stalwart of the South Australian wine scene and Penfolds have been blending Grenache with Shiraz since the 1950's. Recent years has seen a growing trend for the luscious perfumed styles like those emanating out of the northern Rhône and the Bin 138 produces a brilliant example. Brown Brothers Cienna, with all its generous fruit sweetness is a joyous lower alcohol red that is a truly easy drinking style. The nose is filled with juicy berry aromas and the palate is soft flavoursome and slightly spritzy.

Brown Brothers Dolcetto & Syrah is a firm favourite of sweet red wine lovers. It is deep red in colour with pinky purple hues, sweet fruit and red berries on the nose. The palate shows strawberries and a hint of musk with a long sweet mid palate and a long soft finish.

Sourced from three vineyards at Leasingham in the Clare Valley this wine is a unique blend of three varieties originating from Spain - Tempranillo, Mourvedre and Grenache. That is why we call it 'The Spaniard'.

Ripe old vine Shiraz from the heart of the Barossa contributes weight and texture Grenache adding cherry toffee earthy characters and solid savoury tannins. Will reward careful cellaring for a decade.

A savoury spicy blend aged in seasoned oak. The nose shows plum, raspberry and tarry aromas and the medium bodied palate displays blackberry licorice and rich earthy flavours with fine, supple tannins.

Powerful , densely structured and complex, M.Chapoutiers Barbe Rac Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a single vineyard wine produced entirely from Grenache. The fruit is sourced from vines averaging 90 years of age, located in the south of the appellation. The carefully selected grapes are hand harvested, entirely de-stemmed and vinified in concrete tanks. Maturation takes place for 12 months in oak, followed by a further 12 months in bottle prior to release.
