Expressing flavours of currants and green pepper this Kalgan WA grown Cabernet Sauvignon is medium bodied. Fermented on skins with the natural yeast and basket pressed this is a lighter more fruit centred red wine, as it was not aged in oak.

This rich and full–bodied wine displays ripe blackcurrant, blueberry and blackberry fruit characters. Approachable, fine tannins and integrated oak provide structure and frame the wine perfectly. The finish is lengthy and refined.

The French component of this wine was made at two of the Dourthe-owned wineries. Australian components of this wine were made at Penfolds Nuriootpa Winery in South Australia. Both components were blended and bottled in South Australia for a truly one-of-a-kind release.
