Lienert PIQ Piqpoul

‘PIQ’, or Piquepoul, is the newest white wine from the Lienert stable. A fresh dry white akin to Eden Valley Riesling, but without all that mucking about in high altitude stuff. In a nutshell, Piquepoul is kind of like Riesling, but with a tantalising ocean mist character about it. Heralding from southern France, this crisp refreshing white has claimed ‘Official Oyster Wine’ status in its home country, such is the degree to which oysters and Piquepoul are joined at the hip. It does of course pair equally as well with mussels, abalone, clams and pipis!

Dewey Station Wines Spring Tide Riesling

Dewey Station Wines is all about good humour, good times and serious wines. Spring Tide is our cheeky wink to Riesling’s best friend - the ocean. So whether you’re kicking back beachside or enjoying an ocean feast, our Spring Tide Riesling is sure to make the good times great! This multi-layered showstopper draws you in with a fusion of lemon and sherbet delights, before giving way to vibrant yet delicate aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom and rose petals. The steely acid line provides precision and evolves the fruit, showcasing apple and pear, in addition to the clearly defined lemon and citrus on the palate. With Dewey Station Wines and Spring tide, the world really is your oyster! Toot! Toot!

Torbreck Juveniles Blanc

Immediately appealing aromas of tropical fruits such as guava, kaffir lime and green mango against a more restrained nashi pear note. The exotic fruit profile intermingles with Asian spices such as lemongrass and pickled Japanese ginger. The palate’s medium weight demonstrates a lightness and deft touch, with long acidity and acute fruit flavours. The mineral like acidity shines through with a saline and seashell freshness.

Spinifex Lucette Cordon Cut Semillon

The wine, produced by the renowned South Australian winery Spinifex, boasts a vibrant golden hue that glistens in the glass. On the nose, enticing aromas of honey, candied citrus, and apricot mingle with delicate hints of vanilla and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is rich and luscious, with layers of ripe tropical fruit, honeycomb, and a touch of spice. The sweetness is perfectly balanced by a refreshing acidity, leading to a long and satisfying finish. This 500ml bottle is the perfect size for sharing with friends or indulging in a moment of pure pleasure on your own. Enjoy now or cellar for future enjoyment.

Red wine artisan, Marco Cirillo, has produced a single vineyard Shiraz with as minimal intervention as possible. Using 90% whole berry and 10% whole bunch as well as natural yeast fermentation without fining or filtering, this Shiraz screams of its terroir. Expressive fruit up front of plums and red berries with small waft of leafy characters. The palate dances across the tongue without hindrance from over use of oak and is a supreme wine for the price.

Paul Mas Sauvignon Blanc

Light with refreshing acidity, Paul Mas Sauvignon Blanc is different to the fruit ripe New Zealand style Sauvignon, which is packed with passionfruit. In place are gooseberry and lifted white floral notes aroma on the nose. Great steeling mineral on the palate. A fantastic example from the region.
