Paringa Estate Pinot Gris

The bouquet for this Paringa Estate Pinot Gris has lifted varietal fragrance of fresh cut pear with hints of lychee and mandarin. The palate has fresh pear and citrus fruit flavours combined with lovely mid palate texture and balance, finishing with cleansing acidity.

Kooyong Beurrot Pinot Gris

Beurrot by Kooyong is comprised of two Pinot Gris parcels: the tiny original 0.24 hectare section annexing the Meres block, and the all-Pinot Gris Beurrot vineyard, which at 2.74 hectares, provides the majority of the fruit. The Beurrot vineyard is planted to a density of 5600 vines per hectare. The grapes are gently whole-bunch pressed directly into all-used French oak barriques, where fermentation takes place without inoculation. After fermentation the wine is aged on lees (without battonage) for 10 months. It is bottled without fining and with minimal filtration.

Pepper Tree Pinot Gris

The 2014 Pinot Gris shows ripe pear and fig aromas melded with florals and spice notes. A rich fruit driven palate with a hint of spice and a long crisp finish.

Villa Maria Private Bin Pinot Gris

Family owned Villa Maria Estate has been rated as New Zealands

Kumeu River Village Pinot Gris

Aromas have typical peach and stone fruit notes tinged with the floral perfume that we have come to expect from Pinot Gris. Lively and complex and lingers on the palate.

Riposte The Stiletto Pinot Gris

Cool climate winemaking guru, Tim Knappstein, has really nailed this wine in the true Gris style its vibrant, intense, flavoursome and textural yet has a lightness of touch. In the glass: Pale lemon straw. On the nose: Fragrant pear, apple and lemon. On the palate: Shows purity and generosity with a delicate core of yellow and white fruits, and an underlying nutty layer adding complexity and velvety texture throughout.

Vinaceous Sirenya Pinot Grigio

Bright, fresh and aromatic with nashi pear lifted floral aromatics, the palate is quite rich and textural, yet remains aromatics, the palate is quite rich and textural, yet remains minerally and with clean acidity and a long finish. The Sirenya is ideally suited to fresh seafood and seafood pasta dishes.

Jules Taylor Marlborough Pinot Gris

This is definitely Gris, not Grigio with baked quinces, crisp apple and interesting notes of clove spice. Partial barrel ferment helps this wine dial up texture and palate weight. An enticing alternative to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Saint & Scholar Pinot Gris

This grey-skinned grape Pinot Gris underwent a gentle winemaking process with minimal colour extraction from the skin that resulted in a beautiful blush hue. On the nose, aromas of pear and nectarine are complemented by notes of roses and Turkish delight that are introduced by the yeast. The soft palate is laced with pear and lychee flavours leading to a satisfying finish. This varietal can be enjoyed with oven-roasted chicken, meaty fish or pork dishes.

Smith & Hooper Pinot Grigio

Pale gold with green hues, the wine has aromas of strawberry leaf and nashi pear. These flavours continue on the palate where they are joined with custard apple, anise and crunchy green apples, creating a rich and succulent palate. The wine finishes with lingering acid and a hint of musk.
