Semillon from the Hunter Valley is a distinctive and unique wine. Pale, vibrant and light bodied when young and with bottle age developing incredible texture, richness and complexity.

The 2019 Silkman Estate Semillon is clean fresh and modern. The nose is full of lemon, pink grapefruit and fresh cut hay. The palate reflects the nose with citrus and a touch of salinity. This wine will age well and pairs perfectly with a roast chicken.

This Semillon from a sustainably farmed vineyard in the Hunter Valley region was hand picked from 40 year old Semillon vines. The grapes were then fermented with skins, pressed, and barrel aged for 3 months in old Chardonnay French oak. There was no additions, fining or filtration of the wine when bottled. The result is a textural, juicy wine with a zesty dry finish, with flavours of mandarin marmalade and a hint of lemon.

The Fish Cage Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is from the bank of the Hunter River. A blend of two classic varietals; where the Semillon brings aroma of lemon curd, lime leaf and a textured lanolin palate; the Sauvignon Blanc adds exotic tropical fruit with juicy acidity.
