Seppeltsfield EC403 Grenache Shiraz Mataro

Seppeltsfield EC403 Grenache Shiraz Mataro, Barossa 2020 From the great Barossan estate of Seppeltsfield comes this evocative blend. The EC403 Grenache Shiraz Mataro features Grenache sourced from the legendary Great Terraced Vineyard. The Shiraz hails from two blocks, one in the Western and one in the Southern end of the Barossa Valley. The Mataro is sourced from a grower vineyard. United, this fruit is an homage to Seppeltsfields East Cellar bottlings of the 1960s. Expect a deep, concentrated GSM with firm and abundant tannins. Pure fruit and graphite mingle with a gorgeous fresh acidity.

Terroirs Of The Barossa Ebenezer Shiraz

The wine reflects the slate and granite soils with strong mineral notes, and fruit flavours of blackberry, Morello cherry. Complex deeper notes of earth and cured meats bring the palate to a long and evenly weighted finish. Strikingly beautiful, the wine shows perfumed aromas of dark plum, mulberry, thyme, clove and roasted hazelnut on the nose, leading to a beautifully refined palate that’s silky and flowing. The wine offers splendid sophistication and harmony. The combined effects of site soil and climate on the vine. The Barossa has some very distinct sub-regions which exhibit their own unique influence on the wine. A journey through the Terroirs is a lesson in the Barossa’s versatility. We have chosen Eden Valley to highlight its rich, darker flavours unique to this high altitude, cooler climate and rocky, clay loam soils.

Grant Burge The Holy Trinity GSM

The name of this outstanding wine, 'The Holy Trinity' symbolises the Burge family's migration to the Barossa in the 1850's. The family, the vines and their faith created a tradition of winemaking that has continued for five generations. This wine also pays homage to the Barossa, encapsulating the three traditional red varieties of the Barossa - Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre. Under guidance of head winemaker Craig Stansborough, the three varieties come together to make a complex and flavour filled red.
