Harvested at a lower Baume to create a light pretty style with natural acidity. Harvested in the cool of the night. The grapes were crushed and held on skins until the ideal colour extraction had been achieved before being lightly pressed under inert conditions. Fermented in stainless steel vessels. Yeast strains that promote the natural berry characters were selected. Cool fermentation temperatures. The final blend was given a light fining before being filtered and prepared for bottling.

The name of this wine, STUDIO by Miraval, was not chosen by chance. In 1977, jazz musician Jacques Loussier, the owner of the estate at the time, had a recording studio built there, and hosted international artists of the caliber of Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, AC/DC, Wham, Sting, The Cranberries, Rammstein, Chris Rea, and French artists such as Indochine, Telephone, and Bashung. Turning their back on the famous studios of London and elsewhere, they came for the quality of the sound but also for the inspiration procured by this place that the current owners firmly intend to preserve.
