A light, refreshing beer based on corn ales brewed by farmhands during the American Prohibition. Using a pale malt and corn base and very lightly hopped with Ella, Albo delivers a clean and long-lasting flavour. Tastefully dedicated to true local characters, Willie the Boatman has been bringing mates together since 2012.

This American style IPA is layered with a range of mandarin flavour from a carefully selected malt & hop bill, and about 100 cold pressed mandarins blended with a concoction of orange peel liqueur (Cointreau). The result is a super drinkable, fruit driven IPA with an assertive mandarin peel bitterness and dry mouthfeel. The perfect seasonal IPA making use of our favourite citrus fruit.

You can expect tropical fruit, floral, melon and lemon-lime aromas.The Brewery: Untouched 1960’s facade of the Public Bar and Brewery building has long been an icon on the streetscape of industrial Marrickville. Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in. We’re proud to bring the building back to life and become part of the historical fabric of the suburb we know and love.
