Tasca Lamuri Nero d'Avola
Bright, intense ruby red, Tasca Lamuri Nero d'Avola displays rich aromas of cherry, blackberry and mulberry. Vanilla bean, tobacco and aromatic herbs on the palate lead into dark forest fruits and oak adding a beautifully balanced flavour. Good structure and pleasantly fruity with red and black berries.
Heirloom Vineyards Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio
"Faintly pinkish hue, as expected given some skin contact winemaking with this variety, as appears to be the case here. True to type aromas of brown-skinned pear and red-skinned apple with a savoury element providing some complexity. Clean and crisp on the palate, the sweetish fruit is well balanced by the acidity and a textural astringency which sits comfortably." 92 points, James Halliday Wine Companion, August 2017.
Galliano Liqueur Sambuca
Similar to the famous Black Sambuca from Galliano, the White has a lighter texture and a more open flavour. Such an aromatic drink can be enjoyed in many ways, but a favourite is neat alongside a coffee.
Swanson Vinyard Pinot Grigio
Aromas of freshly cut hay and slight hints of guava lead into more subtle notes of pear. On the palate, the wine is balanced with perfect natural acidity that reveals the refreshing yet subtle flavors of litchi and green apple. This wine reflects the ripe, succulent Pinot Grigio flavors that the grapes show on the vine. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with almost any seafood or light pasta dish. Our Pinot Grigio comes from the rolling Piacine hills of San Benito AVA, where the well drained limestone soils pair well with a moderated climate and precision viticulture. The valleys in this region help channel cool air from the cold Pacific Ocean only 20 or 30 miles away from the vineyard, thus reducing day and night time temperatures. Well suited to Pinot Grigio, the region is often cooler than many parts of the Napa Valley, yet receives the same amount of sunlight, preserving the bright acidity and developing the expressive aromatics of the grape. After the dramatic end to the 2017 vintage the 2018 vintage was a return to normal, although a normal we've not seen in years. Mild conditions throughout flowering meant fruit set was extended and successful, ultimately leading to high yields slowing down ripening. The hot temperatures in July and August relented from September onward. There were no late season heat spikes or serious harvest rain events which meant the hang time of the grapes could be extended. The result was naturally balanced wines, lower in alcohol that retained good amounts of natural acidity. This was one of the longest harvests we've seen since 2011, starting on the 31st of August and ending on the 5th of November and can be summed up as a "Classic" vintage. Definitely one to follow closely.

Eden Road The Long Road Pinot Gris
The Pinot Gris from the Long Road range of the Eden Road wines has lifted aromas of strawberry shortcake and ripe pears. These delicate characters are balanced with fine natural acid and textural palate. The slightly extended skin contact prior to pressing gives the wine the lovely pink colour, making it evermore appetizing. The finishing is crisp and clean. Simply seamless.
Fontanafredda Gavi DOCG
Established in 1858 by the first king of Italy, Fontanafredda is now the single largest contiguous wine estete in the Langhe region, with a fierce commitment to organic viticulture as well as woodland regeneration. The Platinum label represents the unique tradition of the Estate and more than 160 years of history. This is a fresh, young Gavi, highlighting the fruity and floral attributes of the Cortese variety. Light straw-yellow with greenish highlights. A full and elegant bouquet of lemons, white flowers, and green apples, with citrus flavours on the palate, a soft, supply roundness, finishing with a pleasant fruit sweatness and an attractive, green apple peel crunchiness.
Greywacke Pinot Gris
An exotic Middle-Eastern mélange of poached quinces, sticky dates and tree-ripened figs, laced with vanilla bean, cardamom and hints of black licorice. This is a ripe, opulent expression of the pinot gris grape in a voluptuous off-dry style that has considerable concentration and a long, luscious finish. The three clones were hand-picked separately at high ripeness levels and whole-bunch pressed using very low maceration press cycles. The resulting juice was cold settled, then racked to fermentation vessels. Most of the juice went through a natural indigenous yeast fermentation in old French oak barriques and the balance was fermented in stainless steel tanks using cultured yeast. Towards the end of fermentation all the wine was transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentations were stopped, retaining 10 g/l residual sugar. The wine then spent a year on yeast lees (seven months in old barrels and the remaining time in stainless steel tanks) prior to blending and bottling. Kevin Judd is one of Marlboroughs pioneer winemakers whose career is intrinsically linked with the global profile of New Zealand wine. Kevin was born in England and grew up in Australia, where he studied winemaking at Roseworthy College and first made wine at Reynella in South Australia. He moved to New Zealand in 1983 and joined Selaks Wines. Subsequently, he became the founding winemaker at Cloudy Bay, a pivotal role during which he directed the companys first 25 vintages. In 2009 he established his own label, Greywacke, named after New Zealands prolific bedrock. The Name: New Zealand does not have a designated national rock, but if one was ever chosen it would have to be greywacke (pron: grey-wacky). This drab grey stone is found everywhere in New Zealand on the mountains, in the rivers, on the beaches. It consists of layers of hard, muddy grey sandstone alternating with thinner layers of darker mudstone (argillite). Technically the term greywacke refers to the sandstone (wacke is a German name for a type of sandstone), but it is also used as a general term for the entire rock.
