Casamigos Reposado Tequila, aged for 7 months, is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish.

About 10 years have passed since the blue agaves in this tequila first stretched their leaves towards the hot Mexican sun, can you imagine? An agave must grow for 8 to 10 years before it can be harvested for tequila production. This is followed by the cooking process and then fermentation, which in turn takes several days. Hussong’s Reposado Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The Tequila is then aged for five months in used bourbon barrels to give it a complex flavour and delicate aroma. Aromas of vanilla custard, citrus and almonds lead to a hint of liquorice, fruity agave and toasted banana bread, the perfect mix of citrus and toasted oak.

Made from 100% Webber Blue Agave with wild yeast, the spirit is clear with a medium body and high tannin. On the nose it has a mellow profile with botanical nuances, notes of cooked agave emerge with crystallized fig, with hints of lime peel, menthol and epazote. The finish has notes of vanilla pod, chamomile flower and honey, with a long pepper finish. Certified Kosher.
