Pale yellow in colour, with aromas of honey, yeast, vanilla, pineapple jelly and a fragrant note of pink pepper appear. Golden straw in colour, Excellia Reposado reveals a complex nose mixing honey, toasted wood, mushroom, dried lavender, jasmine and violet notes. Nine months of ageing in grand cru sauternes wine casks and cognac barrels provide a round and extensive mouthfeel with rich honey, cigar-box, and caramelized-agave/pumpkin notes. This is all mixed with subtle rancio and orchard fruits. The finish is long and satisfying with spicy and earthy notes.

La Gritona Reposado is a subtle and distinctive 100% blue agave tequila distilled by a local family in the small region of Valle de Guadalupe in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
