Six Dogs Blue derives its name from the Blue Pea flower (Clitoria Ternatea), an antioxidant and aphrodisiac in traditional medicine. As chance would have it, ‘Blue’ is also the name of the smallest dog in our pack of six. The infusion of Blue Pea gives the Gin its striking blue colour. The alchemy of this unusual botanical is further revealed when the Gin is mixed with a good tonic, changing the colour to light pink. Six Dogs Blue is the most royal of Gins. A party Gin. Top notes The first thing that hits your nose is fresh zingy lemon peel and grapfruit. The aroma of a marine breeze, samphire, is punctuated by touches of mimosa. Cade adds woody, piney facets. Body notes A blooming floral body with hints of Grasse's rose centifolia and jasmine. Jammy facets of bitter orange are countered by the herbaceous punch of angelica. Hints of warm pepper here and there round out the middle notes. Base notes The tangy warm spicy notes of alexanders, underlying all along, allude to the undergrowth where the cade grows freely. Orris and honey ensure a sweet yet musky long-lasting effect on the tongue, holding their end as floral and citrus notes mingle nicely together.

A delicate citrus/floral nose of fresh lime, guava and lavender warmth, given tension from herbal tones of pink peppercorn, lemon myrtle and the unmistakable, yet light scent of wormwood. Blood orange and peppery juniper set the tone on the palate with a fine interplay of refreshing herbal raciness and a pleasing sweetness derived from vanilla. Lavender floral and vanilla tones continue onto a smooth and elegant finish.

Geometric is an unapologetically a bold juniper and coriander gin. Along with subtle Cape Malay style cinnamon, cardamom and clove lined with the earthy indigenous buchu and Cape snowbush.Botanicals are bound together with Cape brandy, a masterfully textured spirit which gives this gin its uniquely rich and round profile. Prominent juniper and earth notes followed by subtly spiced citrus. Juniper, Cape snowbush and clove interlace around the soft-edged texture of the spirit. Cardamom and coriander pull the spirit to the back of the palate for a surprisingly long finish. Its length and texture making it ideal for a martini, its prominent juniper beautiful in a Geometric Gin and Tonic.
