The cool climate of the ACTs Canberra District is the perfect place to grow and produce quality Chardonnay and Lerida Estate Lake George Chardonnay is a fine example. Picked early to maintain its distinctive freshness and elegance, this delicious white has a vibrant aroma of quince, nectarine and orange zest with a hint of cashew. The palate demonstrates tangy white stone fruit and grapefruit characters with a subtle mineral undertone that adds complexity. 100% barrel fermented and matured for 11 months with regular lees stirring in French oak, this is a classic, definitive Chardonnay.

Golden Chardonnay fruit from the Louis vineyard is cool fermented in tanks followed by extended lees contact prior to bottling. By not utilising the Burgundy technique of fermentation in oak casks this wine highlights the pure Chardonnay aromas and flavours of stone, citrus and melon fruits. The Malabar Chardonnay grapes are grown on the 50 year old, low yielding vines found in the H5 Block of Leogate Estates Brokenback Vineyard in The Lower Hunter Valley. The wine is a vibrant, fresh expression Hunter Valley Chardonnay with a mix of peach and pear flavours, softened on the palate by carefully used French oak barrels. A component of the wine underwent wild fermentation adding complexity and giving the wine a lingering finish.

This Bream Creek Chardonnay shows bright straw gold hues and contains about 13.6% of alcohol. The lifted bouquet exudes subtle aromas of citrus pith and struck the match. The smooth palate packs fresh flavours of citrus and white stone fruits balanced by the mineral acidity and sharp notes of French oak to culminate in a creamy and lingering finish. This Chardonnay varietal is a great match to foods like Tasmanian pork with mushroom sauce and creamy pasta with parmesan.
