A citrus driven nose with white nectarine & oatmeal. Super tangy palate with a great balance of acidity & flavour; Almond, white peach, & lemon curd.

Made from Vineyard to bottle. Low yields cool climate grapes from Nangkita Single Vineyard. Deep sandy soil and limestone beneath, rich in elements for natural aromas and stone fruit flavours with pleasing fresh finish. Buttery and complex.

A thrilling must-try new white, and a name with a very colourful story behind it. Josef Chromy set up his winery in Tasmania in 2007 aged 76, having escaped from Czechoslavakia in 1950. We are very proud to have a Chromy exclusive, as Tasmania’s highly celebrated wines almost never leave the state! This fresh and elegant white exclusive takes its name from the source of its premium fruit – the Marchington Vineyard, planted on the Marchington estate, by a man called John Smith, the alleged illegitimate son of a King of England, shipped to Tasmania in the 1800s. Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre) has a history going back to 1960 when Penfolds made a traditional "Burgundy" style. Penfolds have always loved Mataro (Mourvèdre) for its fantastic ability to blend marvelously with traditional South Australian stalwarts like Shiraz. Adding luscious complexity and palate grip, the Bin 2 is aged in older oak to emphasise the spicy savouriness of Mataro (Mourvèdre) that complements the plush richness of Shiraz.

The cooler climate in Tasmania has always been an ideal place for Pinot Noir to grow as this variety requires longer ripening periods. Chardonnay on the other hand just thrive the extra time to develop more elegant floral, crisp green apple, citrus flavour and natural acidity. When these two join forces, they become the classic base blend ideal for Sparkling wine. This is well balanced with a dry, refreshing finish.

Intense yellow colour with subtle tones olive shiny appearance. Exquisite aroma dominated by tropical fruits, citrus, coconut and nuts. A delicate and correct acidity giving a feeling of freshness. This Andeluna Altitud Chardonnay has a smooth, lingering finish. Serve at 9C. Aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by at least 8 months in bottle before release. Battonage (stirring of the lees) was carried out during the ageing process.
