Crystal clear with a pale pink blush. Sweet and perfumed - sort of in the Old Tom style. Pleasing scents of candied citrus peel combine with hints of anise, ginger, coriander, juniper and pine sap. A creamy entry leads into a semi-sweet mid palate featuring citrus peel, hints of juniper and pepper. Concludes drier with a juniper and pepper aftertaste followed by a brisk grapefruit like fade. It can be served as an aperitif served with Tonic water or added to specific cocktails.

This gin has been crafted using both maseration and infusion methods to create a rose pink colour. The colour comes from grapefruit, pomegranate, blood orange, lemon and organic rose petals. We recommend a garnish that is not too overpowering such as cucumber. Conveniently, it is not necessary to squeeze lemon or lime as it is already packed with citrus. In the 1920s Prohibition Era, a Blind Tiger was an establishment known to illegally sell alcohol, with a focus on celebrating the exciting flavour and taste of liquor cocktails, many of which were Gin based. Blind Tiger Organic Gin is distilled in small batches and is a complex, yet elegant and aromatic gin.

The West Winds Gin story began back in 2009 when two mates (James Clarke and Paul 'The Doctor' White) hatched a plan to create unique styles of Australian gin using local and imported botanicals that would be cut with triple filtered Margaret River rain water. Within a month of launching, The West Winds had already made a strong impression on the gin world, winning numerous accolades at the 2011 San Francisco International Spirit Awards. 'The Sabre' - a Gold medal winner from said awards - presents a traditional British style gin led by underlying citrus and a dominance of juniper, followed by the classic coriander seed.
