A uniquely modern dry gin with a balanced punch of citrus that is a nod to the Australian climate. We use fresh lemon and orange rind, lemon myrtle and a selection of five other botanicals to create a gin that sits comfortably in tonic or naked with soda.

Impression Bay Distillery is located on the beautiful Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania. Our First Impression Gin is made in the London Dry style and incorporates not only traditional botanicals including juniper, cardamom, coriander, cassia bark and lemon myrtle but also our three, fresh, locally grown aromatic botanicals, Mountain Pepper berry, Saltbush and Kunzea. These botanicals are vapour infused in the last stages of distillation in our German still, preserving their subtle aromas and flavours. First Impression Gin is smooth, well balanced and unlike some other gins, crafted to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. 42%ABV.

Juniper forward with floral and citrus highlights , our original gin gives a nod to tradition, yet looks to the future by distilling modern botanicals alongside more traditional ingredients. Original Gin works wonderfully in a classic G&T, garnished with a wedge of pink grapefruit or in an Original martini. Batch distilled and hand crafted at Boatrocker's small Melbourne distillery.

Violet in colour, sparkling in nature. A bouquet of Australian native botanicals shine through making a worthy competitor for the ultraviolet Butterfly pea flower. Violet Gin & Tonic is perfectly crafted with a balance of 23rd Street Violet Gin and no sugar tonic.

Juniperus is our most classical expression and a tribute to a London Dry Gin. Our hero botanical Juniper is distilled whole, crushed, macerated, and vapour infused to attain the highest level of complexity and depth. Grains of Paradise and cassia bark add warmth and structure. Riverland citrus provides lift, softened by vanilla and macadamia, integrating the palate. Here’s to a new modern classic.
