Clase Azul Reposado is an ultra-premium reposado tequila made with Tequilana Weber Blue Agave that is slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Following years of research on different barrel finishes for rye whiskey, comes this release of Michter's US 1 Toasted Barrel Rye. To make it we take the US 1 Kentucky Straight Rye at barrel strength and then age it for an additional period in a second custom barrel. This second barrel is assembled from 24 month air-dried wood and then toasted to their specifications. The result is a unique rye whiskey, the strength of the barrel in this 2023 release is 110.4 proof. This Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey has been aged in two barrels. First Barrel: Fire-charred, new American white oak barrels and Second Barrel: Toasted barrel made from 24 month air- dried wood. It was barrelled at 103 proof and after the maturation periods was bottles at 110.4 Proof. Each barrel is bottled at its particular alcohol level at the time of bottling. A nose brimming with toffee, honey, black walnut and a hint of campfire gives way to a decadent taste experience featuring dark chocolate, salted caramel, cherry and mint with pronounced spice balanced by rounded oak on the finish.

An exceptional blend of reserve stocks of Grande Champagne Cognac, distilled in the mid 1970s and matured in old casks. On the nose there are delicate fragrances of spice, sesame seed, oak, baked pears and brown sugar. The palate is deep and viscous with moderately sweet notes of ripe pear, almond, oloroso sherry, orange peel, and leatherwood honey.
