A testament to Don Julios patience and determination for superior quality, Tequila Don Julio Añejo is the culmination of distinct rich flavours of agave balanced with the perfect amount of wood influence. Don Julio Añejo spends more than the minimum requirement of 1 year on oak, and is normally aged between 18 months and two years before it reaches its optimum age and taste profile. As with the rest of the Don Julio range the nose is fruity and floral, but with notes of vanilla and fresh agave, whilst the palate is slightly richer and more full bodied, yet still sweet and rich with citrus characteristics.

Matured exclusively in the finest sherry oak casks. Vibrant summer fruits burst on the palate, followed by a rewardingly long finish. Natural colour and un-chillfiltered.

Since 1896 all Mortlach whiskies have been 2.81 distilled. Unlike with any other whisky, our spirit criss-crosses between six copper stills of completely different silhouettes 0.81 more times than is Scotch tradition. It is an exact science graced with a touch of magic from The Wee Witchie.The Wee Witchie is the smallest of our six stills. Since it was first forged more than 120 years ago we have fastidiously ensured every dent and detail remains unchanged because it is within this copper chamber that the specific richness of taste which has earned Mortlach the reputation as The Beast of Dufftown is created. Don Julio 1942 Añejo was created for the first time back in 2002 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Don Julio and is the ultimate experession of the Tequila art. Made in the Añejo style, this Tequila is made from the finest piñas, double distilled and aged for 24-30 months in small oak barrels. Rich, sweet aromas of caramel and toffee are layered with a fresh vanilla fragrance and hints of cherry-like red fruits.

Aged 4yrs in Portuguese sourced Port barrels and re-conditioned in Tasmania, Iron House pure Tasmanian Single Malt Port Cask is an enticing drop. The initial pour sits in the glass with a reddish orange embered hue and greets the nose with a stone fruit, red wine, buttery, sweetened spiced aroma. A palate of red berried wines, dried dark fruit, orange zest, hazelnut oak warmth with a touch of dark chocolate, tobacco and heat.

The bottle and packaging are a commissioned piece from Mark Smith, Vice President of Innovation Special Projects at Nike, while the name “Cincoro” comes from a blending of two Spanish words, “cinco” and “oro.” The portmanteau pays homage to the five founding partners and their pursuit to create the gold standard in Tequila. Cincoro Tequilas stand apart as a truly unique creation, most tequilas are made from just one region, Cincoro however is meticulously crafted using Weber blue agave sourced from both the highland and lowland regions. What sets Cincoro apart is the careful separation of the agave, which is cooked and distilled separately before being expertly blended to create a singular, exceptional tequila. Produced at NOM 1438, Destiladora del Valle de Tequila in Tequila, Jalisco. Cincoro Reposado gains its remarkable aromas and taste from a unique ageing regime.
