St Lucia Distillers Group of Companies is a small rum distillery situated in the scenically beautiful and agriculturally rich valley of Roseau on the Caribbean island of St Lucia. It produces some of the world’s best rums. A traditional spanish style rum, the HMS Princessa blends Coffey still spirits pulled off the lower sections of the still, resulting in a robust and complex flavor profile. HMS Princessa is aged from 5 to 9 years in Bourbon and Port casks, before being blended together by our Master Blender. EYE: deep mahogany color. NOSE: honeyed raisins on the nose and a hint of vanilla and tobacco. PALATE: sweet and smooth, with intense brown sugar, crème brulee tones, balanced by dry toasty oak. Complex finish with good oak integration, caramel, and tropical spice.i
