In the winery: Once settled, the clear juice was racked and inoculated with a selected white wine yeast and fermented at 12-15ºC for 15 days. In the glass: Very pale lemon green. On the nose: Lemongrass, lemon and white grapefruit.On the palate: Light yet so flavoursome and refined with on-point acidity providing sherbet-like lightness. Long with the acidity to age well.

Elizabeth Semillon was first made by Mount Pleasant in 1967. Named for Her Majesty and inspired by the first royal visit to Australia in 1954, its appropriate that age only adds to this classic Hunter Valley Semillons character and class.
