Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur
Created by a “beautiful young woman” , this ancient amber coloured Italian Liqueur dates back to 1525. It was gifted to the artist ‘Bernardino Luini’, a member of the Leonardo da Vinci School. The said “beautiful woman” was subsequently immortalised by Luini in a renowned fresco in Saronno (although, the true source of Luini’s inspiration remains a matter of some speculation.) Commercial production of the recipe was begun in the 18th Century by the Reina family in their apothecary shop in Saronno. There are seventeen ingredients in all. The nose displays spirity almond and spice aromas. DiSarrono's natural apricot fruit sweetness is subtly countered by the addition of crushed almonds. Beautifully balanced, the lush, full-bodied palate explodes in flavour on the mid palate finishing with fantastic persistence. A liqueur with universal appeal, enjoyable in coffee, on the rocks or in a range of cocktails. 20% Alc./Vol. Further notes... Deep amber. Rich marzipan and vanilla nose. A rich attack leads a supple, velvety palate with lightly sweet almond and caramel flavors. Finishes for a mile with waves of complex, nutty flavor. An elegant classic. 92 points (Exceptional) - tastings.com Try a “Splash”: 1/3 DiSarrono; 2/3 Orange Juice; garnish with an orange slice or lime wedge and serve over ice.

Piave Grappa
Grappa (literally meaning Grape Stalk) is the Italian spirit that is produced from distilling the skins, seeds and stalks of grapes after making wine, not the juice its self. Piave is aromatic and warming, making it a great after-dinner drink.
Luxardo Maraschino Originale
Luxardo Maraschino Originale is still produced according to a special formula created by Girolamo Luxardo in 1821. When Luxardo marasca cherries are harvested at the beginning of every summer, they are put in alcoholic infusion in larch-wood vats together with some leaves and branches of the same trees for up to three years. When ready, both the liquid and the solid parts are distilled in traditional copper pot stills, separating the heart from heads and tails. Only the heart of the distillate is then allowed to mature in ash-wood vats. The last process consists in transforming the distillate in liqueur by adding a simple syrup of water and sugar lowering the ABV to 32%. Crystal clear in colour, the aroma is typical of marasca cherry distillate with strong alcohol spirit and roasted nuttiness, while the taste results smooth but sharp at the same time with hints of dark chocolate, vanilla and orange marmalade. The tall green bottle with its red cap is still hand-plaited in straw within the company, and resembles the Maraschino bottles produced in Zara in the early days, where the straw was placed in order to prevent damage during transportation. Luxardo Maraschino Originale can be enjoyed in many classic cocktails or neat as an after dinner drink. It is also ideal over fruits such as strawberries, pineapples, oranges etc. or as a flavour in confectionary and ice creams.
Molinari Sambuca Extra
Molinari Sambuca Extra is a traditional Italian liqueur that is flavoured with essential oil extracted from star anise through steam distillation. Finished by adding selected sugars and natural flavourings, Molinari is often served after dinner with 3 coffee beans ('con la mosca') which are added to each glass for good luck.
Malfy Gin
Malfy is a zesty citrus and yet classically complex gin. It's key botanical additions are lemon peels sourced from the Italian coastline that are steeped in alcohol and pressed in a basket press. The infusion is then blended with juniper and other botanicals before distillation. Enjoy a Malfy Martini or Malfy on the rocks.
