Dong Qiu's art seamlessly blends traditional Chinese aesthetics with a modern sensibility, fusing delicate lines and subtle shades reminiscent of classical ink paintings with bold, vibrant colours. This unique combination showcases her deep understanding of Chinese painting techniques while infusing a contemporary twist that sets her work apart. The Glenkinchie 27 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml (Special Release 2023) is known as "The Floral Treasure," boasting thick whispers of rich smoke, bright herbs and juicy plums that leave an indelible finish. This special release was finished in Don Julio Añejo tequila casks, which impart a unique character to the whisky. Aromatically, the whisky features thick wisps of aromatic herbal smoke that pay homage to the ancient art of tattooing, evoking the imagery of clouds slowly dispersing in whispers of stories. The sweet scent of ripe plums lingers, while smoky black ink etches an outline of illustrious past generations ascending to legendary heights. Each sip unfolds like a map of historic victories, imprinted on a living canvas. Inspired by the spirit of intensity and pride that shines through a Lagavulin history spanning more than 200 years, the Malt Master of Glenkinchie explores the famed symbols of the ancient Mesoamerican art of tattoo, rich in story and significance. The whisky, finished in Don Julio Añejo tequila casks, pulsates with herbal flavors both ancient and modern, engraving an indelible story. Amidst fierce glints of gold, fresh notes of sea air, citrus and ripened berries mingle with intense herbal smoke in an enchanted swirl of heady aromas, while the creamy-smooth and robust texture plays the perfect canvas to a rich palette of swirling flavors. The experience unfolds with sweet, juicy plums and a hint of saltiness, then evolves into a progressively more herbal and smokier profile, leaving a lasting impression as a whisky of legends.

Uniquely finished for up to four months in barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean to create a luxuriously rich and indulgent single malt. After maturing the whisky for 21 years, the Malt Master adds even warmer and richer flavours by uniquely finishing this single malt in first fill bourbon barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean. The rum soaked cask infuses the aged whisky with a spicy warmth and indulgent vanilla and toffee sweetness, the character of the Caribbean shining through. This gives the whisky a sumptuous sweet intensity that is both rich and creamy yet still retains the unmistakable character of Glenfiddich.

Here is the fourth instalment in The Macallan's limited annual Harmony Collection. 'Vibrant Oak' reflects the influence of sherry-seasoned casks having matured in both first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak and refill sherry casks. The whisky was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, and the packaging features characters from its SPIRIT experience which premiered at The Macallan Estate in early 2024. As with others in the series, the outer packaging and label are made from repurposed oak chippings, leftover as a by-product in the cask-making process. 44.2% Alc./Vol. Notes from the producers... To create The Balvenie PortWood 21 year old single malt whisky, a marriage of rare Balvenie is transferred to port casks, or pipes, which have held fine port wines. Here it is sampled regularly by The Balvenie Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE to ensure that just the right amount of character is imparted by the port casks, enhancing and developing the single malt whilst preserving its original characteristics. Considered by many to be David’s finest creation, this whisky is one of his proudest achievements and has won an array of highly coveted industry awards since its release in 1996. A perfume of fruity and ripe raisin notes is backed by a nuttiness on the nose. The palate is refined with remarkable character, it is creamy and silky with fruit, honey and spice notes and a long, gentle nutty finish.
