Arnaldo Rivera Barolo Castello Grinzane Cavour

Sottimano Cotta Barbaresco

Situated between Neive and the town of Barbaresco itself, Cotta beautifully combines the rich, fuller-bodied nature of Neive, with the tannic structure of Barbaresco. With a south-west exposure, it is usally the richest and roundest of the Sottimano crus, typically showing abundant red and black fruits with refined nuances of mint, leading to a palate of notable length. The tannins are there, but beautifully expressive and silky. A benchmark Barbaresco with a 15-20 year cellar life.

Branca Menta adds to the equation more sugar and peppermint oil. Recommended with a splash of soda over ice. 28% Alc./Vol.

Caffo Vecchio Amaro Del Capo Red Hot Edition

Warm and aromatic taste with a strong note of pepper. Long and pleasant perception of balance between bitter and spicy. Transparent and brilliant. It turns out soft, sweet and delicate, but with a notable richness and aromatic complexity, fruity and distinctly floral. Pleasant sensations on the palate. Finish is well balanced.

Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs

A brilliant straw yellow, with remarkably persistent perlage. Sensations of apple, underpinned by tones of biscuit and citron. Amidst the notes of ripe fruit one finds pleasant hints of crusty bread, deriving from its more than 30 months’ ageing on the yeasts. A fresh and lively flavour, enhanced by the velvety softness of the bubbles. The typical fruity notes of Chardonnay combine with fragrances of yeast.

FRANCIACORTA BRUT CUVÉE

Bright light golden color with a vivid mousse. Rather complex and layered nose, vinous with (perhaps oak) roasted hazelnut, yellow fruit, apricot, fresh butter and brioche, rather white burgundy like on the nose. The palate is well-built with a bright freshness and layers of ripe stone fruit underlined by pastry notes and fresh butter with a long and lingering finish. Nice.
