The Kilchoman Sanaig Single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky presents soft cooked fruits with caramel and vanilla on the nose along with toffee, peat smoke and a lingering sweetness on the palate. The finish is a lovely balance of peat smoke, fruit and sweetness.

The new Disclosure expression Amazingly expressive young whisky ! Malt distilled in 2006 and matured in deeply humid caves within intensely Pedro Ximenez impregnated media botas (250 liters). Four selected casks blended together to obtain regularity of taste. 53% natural strength decreased at bottling time to 49% per volume. Amber tint with ruby reflections. Mellow with roasted almond notes with a soft pungency. Floral and intense nose.

Tasting Notes: a perfectly delicious Grande Champagne Cognac, vivacious aromas of spring flowers, lilac, jasmine. Then some notes of ripe fruit, banana, melon; dried fruit, raisins, walnut. A long finish with some spicy notes coming through, anise, caraway. Perfect for a party with your friends to go with some exotic and spicy cooking, Provençale, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Mexican cooking.

Serving suggestions: Twelve years of ageing produce a Folle Blanche which is beginning to display a fine maturity. Serve at room temperature with a fruity dessert or light meringue, or enjoy it on its own: an unashamedly elegant experience. Profile:An explosion of fresh fruit. Tasting notes: A consistent gold colour and a nose imbued with the natural freshness of fruits (orange, lemon, wild apple) and flowers.

Despite its long ageing, this minimum 30-month blend is not overtly sweet or oaky; it has a drier style, which is full of spice and character from its highland terroir. Cooked agave is present with a fine mixture of dried fruits, almonds and roasted coffee. There is a subtle and masked fudginess reminiscent of dark cocoa that emerges from the depth in its long and slightly dry finish.
