This Sauvignon Blanc has been sourced from the beautiful Gumeracha wine region. Crafted with minimal intervention, the wine flaunts a gorgeous green colour with a golden touch. A swirl on the glass exudes aromas of lime, grass, lemon and mango. These aromas seamlessly pave way for a matching palate that is brimming with citrus. The lovely palate is followed by a refreshing finish. You can pair this varietal with delicate fishes, green vegetables or dishes with the tangy dairy ingredient.

Perfect celebration fizz from the Adelaide Hills. Howard Vineyard's cool-climate wines are really making a splash, and this vintage Sparkling – made with top quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from their Beautiful Valley and Charleston vineyards – is a tongue-tingling, nose-prickling, palate-pleasing delight. Vibrant raspberry, cherry and strawberry from the Pinot Noir greet your palate upfront. Soon to be followed by green apple, citrus and peach notes from the Chardonnay. which also offers texture and nutty flavour to the wine. This beautiful bubbly finishes fresh and dry with a hint of creaminess. Perfect for celebrations, it also makes a wonderful accompaniment to richly flavoured foods like lobster mornay or a gruyere soufflé.

The fruit for this wine was grown at the Hill Smith Vineyard at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. The vines at this east-facing vineyard grow in alluvial loam, limestone, shale and quartz, at an altitude of around 400m. Thanks to near-perfect weather, 2021 promises to be one of the best Adelaide Hills vintages in recent memory.

In the glass the 2014 Gruner Veltliner, (or GruVe as we like to call it) is very pale straw with fine green hue. The nose is lifted with a flinty minerality and a loaf of citrus (more fresh limes than lemons) with a subtle herby peppery and floral notes. Again the citrus is prevalent on the palate followed by a fine peppery note. The mouth watering acidity combines with the fruit and peppery notes to deliver a long and fresh finish. Drink now or until 2025 with careful cellaring.

The grapes used to craft The Katana Chardonnay were handpicked, chilled overnight, and whole bunch pressed. The juice was rough settled, and transferred to French oak barriques for fermentation. This process led to the creation of a pale straw coloured wine with golden yellow highlights along the edges. This wonderful Chardonnay presents a supple core of citrus blossom and white stone fruit characters, enhanced by mineral notes. The juicy palate contains flavours of bright fruits and French oak supported by crisp acidity, ending in a lively and captivating climax. This alluring white wine can be enjoyed within 5 years from vintage. Drink it with potato soup, roasted vegetable pizza, and chorizo and sweet potato risotto.
