Ron Botran 8 Year Old Anejo Dark Rum
Matured for eight years using a Solera system, this rum from Botran has a rich, spicy character with notes of caramelised banana, toasted oak, ginger and black pepper.The Botran family is commonly known for sugarcane production in Guatemala, but in 1939 they decided to begin a journey by establishing Industria Licorera Quetzalteca. The five brothers agreed that the ultimate place to age rum in Guatemala was Quetzaltenango. Since that day they have been involved in all the details regarding their rum production. Although the nurturing process has evolved, it all began with the nurturing process called Sistema Solera. This process implies the integration of young and old rums, as they mellow for years in white oak barrels. They are the first family that produced Guatemalan rum, nowadays they continue producing one of the worlds finest quality rums. Solera 1893 and Reserva high quality rums have won many worldwide awards for their intricacy, profundity and signature sweet flavour.
Ron Botran Miracielo Artesenal Spiced Rum
Miracielo Spiced Rum is mixed with a Master Blender from Botran, which macerates the finest vanilla, fresh plums and sweet raisins.This maceration of intense spices and fruit is added to maturing premium rum in a barrel. This develops complex, harmonious tastes and makes Miracielo rum so unique.Miracielo Spiced rum has spicy and woody hints, as well as a soft note of sultanas and ripe fruit aromas, with a pleasant note of vanilla and red berries on the palate.
