Black Barrel is a unique small batch handcrafted blend rum from Mount Gay. Cast your mind back to 1931 and you may remember that it was the year that the Dennery distillery merged with another distillery in St. Lucia to form St. Lucia Distillers (it was the same year that the Empire State Building was completed - in case you need your memory jogged). To celebrate the occasion, St. Lucia Distillers created their 1931 series, and this is the sixth release of excellent St. Lucian rum in the rage.
