Modern white wine making techniques were used with temperature control critical from the vineyard through to the winery. The fruit was de-stemmed and crushed then must chilled and pressed off the skins quickly. It was allowed to settle for 72 hours before being racked in a clarified state to a fermentation tank. Each variety was kept separately with a range of different yeast being employed on the two different parcels. It was then transferred to temperature controlled steel tanks. Ø FOOD MATCHING Best served chilled and enjoyed with a light meal such as chicken or seafood.

Grape Varieties: sauvignon blanc 72%; semillon 28% No surprises with the colour Pale yellow with green edges. Hallmark citrus and grass / nettle-driven aromatics theres a tease of white stone fruits but unmistakably the classic MR Blend. The palate shows balance concentration of ripe fruit and more than a little texture. I wont wax lyrical as it doesnt command that style of critique. Everything in its right place its a lovely glass of wine.

Embers Sauvignon Blanc Semillon shows plenty of varietal fruits in the kiwi fruit, lemon grass, passionfruit and lime spectrum. Semillon's citrus and floral notes are complemented by the tropical passionfruit aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc. Cool nights, a hallmark of the vintage, has harnessed plenty of fresh, crunchy fruits and wonderful crisp acidity. The Embers Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a versatile wine that could be enjoyed as an aperitif or with almost any modern food of your choice.

APPEARANCE: Deep gold. AROMA: Orange blossom, negroni, mint, thyme. PALATE: Tightly wound structure of sauvignon blanc and semillon tannins spreading the fruit out to the back of the palate, with crisp natural acidity.
