Lowburn Ferry Home Block Pinot Noir is a silky-smooth, deeply coloured wine. Perfumed and spicy on the nose, it reveals aromas of red and black berry fruit, plum, and violets, with hints of savoury mushroom and char. Lush and concentrated flavours of black cherry and plum fruit on the palate are complemented by leather and savoury notes. It is a full bodied, complex wine with layers of fine grained tannin and a lingering finish.

A complex array of melon fig and cashew aromas is followed by a typically elegant and subtle palate with beautifully integrated oak. Petaluma had set a benchmark in Australian Chardonnay.

Cambria was originally part of the Tepusquet Vineyard. Planted between 1970 and 1971, this ambitious venture helped establish Santa Barbara County as a world-class wine producing region. The Cambria portion of property was purchased in 1986 by Barbara Banke. Bream Creek Pinot Noir from Southern Tassie is big and ripe with gentle pepper nuances. Punchy, dried dark stone fruits, fruit cake and dark roasted herbs are present while the palate rolls out very ripe tannins that swerve from side to side, bringing rich plum flavour and a big juicy finish.

Savoury and spicy dry red. Earthy good value French Pinot Noir.

This Pinot noir is the flagship from Two Paddocks an organically grown barrel selection from the estate properties. As in the vineyard, the wine is hand crafted using traditional methods including a 25% whole bunch indigenous fermentation and hand plunging. Maturation is in French barriques for 11 months, using a mix of older and new (25%) barrels.

One of the most exciting discoveries we made from a trip to New Zealand last year. Coal Pit is located in the Gibbston Valley sub region of Central Otago. Perfumed with violets, the nose is lifted and aromatic. Vibrant mid palate of black doris plum, wild herb, coffee and cassis backed by silky tannins and well integrated spicy oak.
