Clos Clare Aged Riesling

Classic Riesling by Clos Clare from dry-grown 44 years old vines in the famous Florita Vineyard in the Watervale district of Clare Valley. Hand crafted wine that shows delicacy, focus and finesse, which is indicative of this vineyard. The nose displays lifted lime blossom and pink grapefruit aromas. The palate has clarity, backbone, focus and length, with a finish complemented by zesty freshness.

O'Leary Walker Polish Hill River Riesling Museum Release

Pale straw with steely green tinges. Delicately perfumed with a hint of musk and bath salts. Textured with hints of orange rind, lemon, lime and spice. Delicate with crisp natural acidity and balanced finish. O'Leary Walker Wines was established in 2000 by winemakers David O'Leary and Nick Walker. With over twenty five years experience and established reputations making premium wine with the big companies, these two long time friends decided to take control of their own destiny and craft small batches of wine from some of the best vineyard sites in South Australia. With a great leap of faith they are now doing exactly what they set out to. Based in Leasingham in the Clare Valley, the duo source fruit from all over South Australia (including the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale) but some of the best fruit comes from the Clare Valley itself. Of particular note is the Grace's vineyard in Watervale which supplies Riesling for the lauded 'Watervale Riesling' label. Grace's is a dry grown, west facing vineyard that sits on the classic 'red loam over limestone' Watervale soils and produces wonderful Riesling fruit. Similarly, the Smith and Molloy vineyards in the Polish Hill River area also contribute wonderfully intense Riesling fruit of the highest order. The O'Leary Walker range focuses on some premium regional varietals, taking the best bits from all around South Australia. The theory behind this is to draw on the grape varieties that excel in these quite different viticultural climates.

Grosset Alea Riesling

This outstanding Riesling has subdued lavender, fresh herb aromas, lemon blossom while the palate is soft round and smoothed out by a touch of sweetness that is deep and lingering. Before being grasped by a clenched fist of acidity.. The finish is taunt, ultra-crisp with a whisper of sweetness before the zesty dry grip takes over.

Grosset Springvale Riesling

Langton's Classification: Excellent

Grosset Springvale Riesling from the Clare Valley sub-region of Watervale, takes its name from the Springvale Road vineyard located in the highest part of Watervale. Jeff Grosset's six hectare vineyard produces a wine full of ethereal aromatics, fragrant lemongrass and freshly squeezed lime. Pure lemon flavours over wet pebbles show on the palate that is accented by the wonderful minerality that is the signature of Grosset.

RIESLINGFREAK NO. 14 WATERVALE RIESLING

Rieslingfreak is indeed ‘a freak’, and not simply because of its rarity as an Australian winemaker focused on a single variety. A collection of wines, each given its own number to represent a different style, region or vineyard. The home of the No.14 is a single vineyard at Watervale in the Clare Valley, a region renowned for producing Riesling of richness and elegance. This wine may be enjoyed in its youth, but will also reward long-term cellaring.

Rhythm Stick Wines Red Robin Clare Valley Reserve Riesling

Bouquet & Pal- A restrained floral perfumed nose with lifted lemon/lime aromas. The clean lime/lemon citrus flavours that linger to a long dry finish. Colour - Golden straw with Light Green Tones. Bouquet & Palate - This wine commenced with a restrained floral perfumed nose of lemon blossom aromas. It has now started to emerge from its initial straight jacketed steely tightness, opening up with glorious ripe pear and lemon flavours with hints of ripe rock melon that linger on the palate with a long, dry & refreshing finish.
