The grapes for the wines that carry the Mt Difficulty Bannockburn label are subject to two strict criteria: they are managed under the umbrella of the Mt Difficulty viticultural team and must be sourced from vineyards situated on the South side of the Kawarau River at Bannockburn. This Pinot noir displays lovely elegance and flow with striking precision and clarity. On the palate it kicks off with a supple dark berry entry, moving into a beautifully textured plush mid palate, after which fine elegant textural tannins frame fruit and acidity on a lengthy finish.

The grapes for our 2016 Showy Willow Sauvignon Blanc come from a small vineyard at the top of Willunga Hill in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand pick and progressively transported to our winemaker in McLaren for crushing and fermentation. ISABEL ESTATE VINEYARD Aratoro Chardonnay, Marlborough Isabel Estate was established in Marlborough in 1980 and has some of the oldest vines in the region. Aratoro (meaning 'path of discovery') is Isabel Estate's top-tier range. This single-vineyard wine is crafted from some of the oldest vines on the Isabel Estate vineyard. The Chardonnay is crafted from naturally low yielding vines that provide fruit with great concentration and acidity. The resulting wine is powerful and intricate, displaying notes of gunsmoke, white peach, and nectarine, with hints of lemon and lime. The citrus note gives the wine length and vibrancy. Mineral, linear, lengthy and fine acidity carries the wine and gives this beautiful wine great age-ability.
